METROPOLIS meets SHOSTAKOVICH

Scenes from METROPOLIS, the movie which was made in 1925 to 1926 by German Ufa, directed by Fritz Lang to the music from Shostakovich. The Symphony No. 11 in G minor (Opus 103; subtitled The Year 1905) by Dmitri Shostakovich was written in 1957 and premiered by the USSR Symphony Orchestra under Natan Rakhlin on 30 October 1957.
Shostakovich is one of Quase's favorite composers and he adores the 11th Symphony.
This visual match is amazing. One would think the movie was created with this music but the music was composed some 30+ years later. Sit back and enjoy.
